Ida Vavříková

Ida got into touch with horses at the age of 4 in Connecticut, USA where she had lived with her family for a few years. After returning to Czech Republic she continued in several riding clubs and eventually ended up in Nemochovice where her parents began to reconstruct a farm from the 17th century. As a high school student she started her competition career and has been placed in regional and national championships. During college she moved into international competitions and left for internships in USA and Denmark. In that time she decided for a full time riding career in dressage and showjumping. She has been working with such trainers as Beth and Jennfier Baumert(USA), Denis Soyer (BEL), Michael Deters (DE) and Remy Bastings (NL). In the framework of knowledge development she took part in clinics with Ulf Moller, Dorothee Schneider and Helen Langehanenberg.
Currently she is preparing for a comeback after maternal break and focusing on preparing young horses who are becoming a very interesting investment not only within Czech Republic.
